Sunday, August 25th, Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team will open the Pacific Nations Cup against Japan at BC Place in Vancouver. Since the game kicks off at 2 PM, there won’t be any running on that day. Instead, our social guru, Tommy O’ will organize a brunch get-together at a nearby restaurant. Enjoy the rugby action! Tickets can be purchased through your local club or at ticketmaster.
Our league is hosting a "Ice Breaker" Tournament September 6-8th in Kelowna, graciously hosted by the Vicars. We already have a good number of players expressing interest in attending and the club has already booked rooms of which we will be covering a significant portion of the costs to encourage participation. The Ice Breaker Sign-up Sheet and sizing chart for the shirts was sent out by e-mail. If you didn't get the e-mail, let us know! The cost per player will be $150.00 which will include accommodation, the tournament shirt + beer & snacks at the hotel.

Evergreens Rugby Club Japan Tour Postponed to 2025!
Fueled by Maple Syrup and Poutine, we quest to face the rugby teams of the Land of the Rising Sun
Ah, disaster strikes - the rugby gods decide to postpone the tour to 2025 because the cherry blooms weren't blooming on schedule! So mark your calendars, next year it's Evergreens RFC vs Wakkka wakka eh, the Fuwaku lads set to J-pop hits and the Gentlemen of Osaka rucking their perfectly folded origami crane!
The basics remain the same:
📅 When: October 2025 (just 18 months away—time to practice your hakas and sake sipping skills!)
💸 Deposit: $500 to reserve your spot e-transfer to [email protected]
💰Fees: To Be Determined

🏆 Playing Tourists: If you’re fit, fabulous, and ready to ruck, you’re our MVPs. Priority goes to those who can still touch their toes without groaning. 🏃♂️🏃♀️ 🍁 Non-Playing Tourists: You’ll be considered too.
We're assembling teams that have seen more scrums than the entire history of tea ceremonies! If you're over 50 or 60, lace up those boots, adjust your bifocals, and get ready to ruck!
